A Nigerian court granted a 57-years-old man a divorce after hearing that his wife often brought his meals to him too late in the evening. The Shooting began as the event was finishing around 3:30am. Two people are dead and three others wounded after sporadic shooting began at a Toronto nightclub. The club was hosting a concert after-party hosted by Canadian rapper and record producer Drake.The victims included a woman who was pronounced dead at the scene and a man who  died after being taken to hospital. It is not yet known what led to the shooting, though a similar shooting at the same event in 2014 resulted in a 24-year-old man being rushed to hospital with a gunshot wound. LANCASTER, N.H (AP) . A man and a girl were killed and at least 22 people were injured  on Monday when a severe storm blew down a circus tent in northern New Hampshire, officials said. State Fire Marshal William  Degnan said at a briefing late Monday that the injured were taken to four regional hospitals. Their conditions were not immediately known. The accident happened around 5:3 pm. as the first of two scheduled  shows was getting underway at the Lancaster fairgrounds about 90 miles north of the capital in Concord. Degna said Sarasota, Fla.- based Walker International Events was scheduled to do the shows on Monday before  moving on to Vermont on Tuesday. About 100 people were in the tent when it collapsed he said.

Ambode Appoints 19 Permanent Secs, Sacks 15.

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwumi Ambode, has approved the appointment of 19 new permanent secretaries in the state public service. A statement on Monday by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Habib Aruna, stated that the appointments were in line with the governor's drive to restructure the civil service for efficient performance and the better service delivery. The new permanent secretaries, the statement added, had been deployed across board in the new structure of the civil service.  It said, "The names of the newly appointed permanent secretaries are  Mr. Bamgboye Abiodun, Mrs. Dapo-Thomas Aderemi,  Mrs. Ariyo Olabisi, Mrs. Adekanye Elizabeth,  Mr. Bode Agoro, Dr. Ayandele abiose, Dr. Sodeinde Ibironke, Mr. Odeyemi Adesina, Mrs. Odunlana Olufunmilayo. "Others are Mrs. Onisarotu Jemil, Mr. Bade-Adebowale Caster, Mrs. Amosu Ayodele, Mr. Kadiri Adebisi, Mrs. Anifowoshe Abiola, Mr. Adeyemi Anthony, Dr. Oduwole Elizabeth, Mr. Mustapha Olorunfemi, Mrs. Odunlami Adesola and Mr. Odupitan Olusola."  The statement said 15 permanent secretaries had also been retired from civil service.Ambode is expected to swear in the new permanent secretaries on Wednesday.

A Syrian government warplane has crashed in a marketplace in the north - western town of Ariha, killing 12 people, activists say.

The UK-base Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) activist group said the crash occurred amid bombing raids. Ariha was one of the last government strongholds in Idlib when it was captured by Islamist rebels in May. The fall of Ariha left most of Idlib province, bordering Turkey, in rebel hands. The SOHR said dozens more had been injured in the incident.  It is not clear whether the plane was shot down or crashed for another reason.

Former Head of Service of the Federation, Steven Orosanye, who was interrogated by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC)  in relation with ongoing investigation in alleged multi billion naira pension scam said,yesterday, that some people are out to silence him because of some of the reforms he initiated while in service. The family of one Benson Orode, 26, an indigene of Edo State, is at war with the police following the mysterious death of their son, David, in custody. The deceased was arrested on May 21, 2015 by policemen who claimed to be from Lagos and,ever since then, nothing was heard about David until few days ago. The policemen, who arrested him, alleged that David bought a stolen vehicle. However, the bad news broke, last week, when it was learnt the body of David was deposited at a mortuary in Benin-City. This is coming four months after a 26-years-old worker of Protea Hotel Sapele road Benin City, Chibuike Edeh, died in the custody of the police. The police has yet unable to fish out the killers.

Popular actress, Gloria Young, is one of the many people who have lost it while demanding that her bank retracts a debited found. The actress was recently spotted at a bank where she caused a scene that definitely wasn't in a movie. The drama was caused by bank's failure to refund her N20.000 which was debited since December. Gloria Young explain herself thus; "I went to use an ATM at Ejigbo, close to NNPC bus-stop in Lagos in December. I wanted to withdraw N20.000 but the machine did not dispense the money after debiting my account. I went to the second machine and it paid me. After six days without hearing a word from the bank, I went to complain. I also went to my bank to report the situation. This was in December. I have gone to them so many times to talk about it but all to no avail. "Now my lawyer is about  to serve them a letter. He has been speaking with them but the bank keeps calling me to beg me instead of paying me my money. The matter has been dragging for too long. I am very angry at my bank because if they can not fight for me because of N20.000, then they cannot fight for me when it comes to millions of naira.
