A Nigerian court granted a 57-years-old man a divorce after hearing that his wife often brought his meals to him too late in the evening. A court in Lagos heard that Olufade Adekoya was at the end of his tether after Olusola, his spouse of 25 years, refused to serve him when he demanded.  "My wife had failed in her matrimonial obligations. A suicide bomb attack on a mosque in a Saudi Arabia has left 15 people dead, the interior ministry says. A senior Saudi official said the mosque in Abha, close to the Yemeni border, was used by the security forces. The Islamic State (IS) group says it carried out the attack. The group has already claimed two deadly attacks on shia mosque in may.  IS last year urged its followers in Saudi Arabia to sow sectarian hatred by targeting the minority Shia population. The death toll was initially put at 13, but the interior ministry later said two of the wounded had died.

Two Dead After Toronto's Drake Nightclub Shooting.

The Shooting began as the event was finishing around 3:30am. Two people are dead and three others wounded after sporadic shooting began at a Toronto nightclub. The club was hosting a concert after-party hosted by Canadian rapper and record producer Drake.The victims included a woman who was pronounced dead at the scene and a man who  died after being taken to hospital. It is not yet known what led to the shooting, though a similar shooting at the same event in 2014 resulted in a 24-year-old man being rushed to hospital with a gunshot wound. It was not immediately clear whether  Drake was in the club at the time.

LANCASTER, N.H (AP) . A man and a girl were killed and at least 22 people were injured  on Monday when a severe storm blew down a circus tent in northern New Hampshire, officials said. State Fire Marshal William  Degnan said at a briefing late Monday that the injured were taken to four regional hospitals. Their conditions were not immediately known. The accident happened around 5:3 pm. as the first of two scheduled  shows was getting underway at the Lancaster fairgrounds about 90 miles north of the capital in Concord. Degna said Sarasota, Fla.- based Walker International Events was scheduled to do the shows on Monday before  moving on to Vermont on Tuesday. About 100 people were in the tent when it collapsed he said.

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwumi Ambode, has approved the appointment of 19 new permanent secretaries in the state public service. A statement on Monday by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Habib Aruna, stated that the appointments were in line with the governor's drive to restructure the civil service for efficient performance and the better service delivery. The new permanent secretaries, the statement added, had been deployed across board in the new structure of the civil service.  It said, "The names of the newly appointed permanent secretaries are  Mr. Bamgboye Abiodun, Mrs. Dapo-Thomas Aderemi,  Mrs. Ariyo Olabisi, Mrs. Adekanye Elizabeth,  Mr. Bode Agoro, Dr. Ayandele abiose, Dr. Sodeinde Ibironke, Mr. Odeyemi Adesina, Mrs. Odunlana Olufunmilayo. "Others are Mrs. Onisarotu Jemil, Mr. Bade-Adebowale Caster, Mrs. Amosu Ayodele, Mr. Kadiri Adebisi, Mrs. Anifowoshe Abiola, Mr. Adeyemi Anthony, Dr. Oduwole Elizabeth, Mr. Mustapha Olorunfemi, Mrs. Odunlami Adesola and Mr. Odupitan Olusola."  The statement said 15 permanent secretaries had also been retired from civil service.Ambode is expected to swear in the new permanent secretaries on Wednesday.

Governor Abiola  Ajimobi disclosed this while briefing journalists at the Governor's office, Ibadan, on the efforts to address the state indebtedness to its workforce, Ajimobi who announced the approval of payment of about N2billion to workers in the lower cadre, stated that the challenge was about N2.5billion debt on the government's monthly wage bill. "Our average monthly salary is between N5.2billion and N5.5billion, whereas what we get from the Federal Government inclusive our Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) is about N3 billion. A Syrian government warplane has crashed in a marketplace in the north - western town of Ariha, killing 12 people, activists say.

The UK-base Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) activist group said the crash occurred amid bombing raids. Ariha was one of the last government strongholds in Idlib when it was captured by Islamist rebels in May. The fall of Ariha left most of Idlib province, bordering Turkey, in rebel hands. The SOHR said dozens more had been injured in the incident.  It is not clear whether the plane was shot down or crashed for another reason.

Former Head of Service of the Federation, Steven Orosanye, who was interrogated by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC)  in relation with ongoing investigation in alleged multi billion naira pension scam said,yesterday, that some people are out to silence him because of some of the reforms he initiated while in service. In a statement issued in Abuja, the former HoS said the plot to silence him was hatched in Kaduna in June. He traced his travail to the letter he wrote December 10, 2009, expressing concerns about pension administration for retired public servants. That letter to former National Security Adviser (NSA) to late President Yar'Adua, Maj. Gen. Abdullahi Mukhtar, was the precursor to eventual reforms in the Civil Service payment system and the exposure of monumental corruption in the pension administration of the service.

The family of one Benson Orode, 26, an indigene of Edo State, is at war with the police following the mysterious death of their son, David, in custody. The deceased was arrested on May 21, 2015 by policemen who claimed to be from Lagos and,ever since then, nothing was heard about David until few days ago. The policemen, who arrested him, alleged that David bought a stolen vehicle. However, the bad news broke, last week, when it was learnt the body of David was deposited at a mortuary in Benin-City. This is coming four months after a 26-years-old worker of Protea Hotel Sapele road Benin City, Chibuike Edeh, died in the custody of the police. The police has yet unable to fish out the killers.

Popular actress, Gloria Young, is one of the many people who have lost it while demanding that her bank retracts a debited found. The actress was recently spotted at a bank where she caused a scene that definitely wasn't in a movie. The drama was caused by bank's failure to refund her N20.000 which was debited since December. Gloria Young explain herself thus; "I went to use an ATM at Ejigbo, close to NNPC bus-stop in Lagos in December. I wanted to withdraw N20.000 but the machine did not dispense the money after debiting my account. I went to the second machine and it paid me. After six days without hearing a word from the bank, I went to complain. I also went to my bank to report the situation. This was in December. I have gone to them so many times to talk about it but all to no avail. "Now my lawyer is about  to serve them a letter. He has been speaking with them but the bank keeps calling me to beg me instead of paying me my money. The matter has been dragging for too long. I am very angry at my bank because if they can not fight for me because of N20.000, then they cannot fight for me when it comes to millions of naira.

Police Killing raises concern in S'Africa.

Four police officers have been killed in South Africa in three days, raising  concern over growing risk to police officers amid rampant crimes. The four police officer, three from Gauteng Province and one from Western cape were brutally killed in  the line of duty. The latest killing took place in Johannesburg on Friday morning when unidentified gunmen shot two on-duty police officers, the South Africa Police Service said. One of the two officers who were shot and wounded has died in the hospital, the SAPS said. Several suspect have been arrested in connection with the killing. On Wednesday, a police officer as stabbed to death in Cape Town after stopping to change a flat tyre. A day letter, another police was shot dead in a shoot-out with a group of robbers in Pretoria.
