Police Killing raises concern in S'Africa.

Four police officers have been killed in South Africa in three days, raising  concern over growing risk to police officers amid rampant crimes. The four police officer, three from Gauteng Province and one from Western cape were brutally killed in  the line of duty. The latest killing took place in Johannesburg on Friday morning when unidentified gunmen shot two on-duty police officers, the South Africa Police Service said. One of the two officers who were shot and wounded has died in the hospital, the SAPS said. Several suspect have been arrested in connection with the killing. On Wednesday, a police officer as stabbed to death in Cape Town after stopping to change a flat tyre. A day letter, another police was shot dead in a shoot-out with a group of robbers in Pretoria.

Following criticisms that followed the storming of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) headquarters by lawmakers, Kogi west Senator in the National Assembly, Otunba Dino Melaye, has defended his recent visit to the EFCC in solidarity with the wife of the Senate President, Mrs. Toyin Saraki, who honoured the invitation by the  anti-graft agency. The Chairman, Senate Ad hoc Committee  on Media and Publicity also challenged anybody who want to twist the truth that he has never done any government contract, at the Local Government, State or Federal levels, to come forward with evidence.

It was learnt during the week that problem started weeks after sossi dropped the remix. Sossi nd his management were said to have paid Olamide N1.5million for him to feature in the remix while Oritsefemi was allegedly paid N500,000. This disparity in the fee, according to our source, have angered Oritsefemi  when  he got to know about it.  "He's believed to be angry with Sossi and his management over their decision to pay him less fee as against Olamide, who he perceived to be his junior in the music industry," said a source who is close to the record label. A source close to Oritsefemi said that the singer was not happy when he learnt Olamide was paid more money than him. Effort to contact Olamide on phone proved abortive as his manager, Alex's cell phone was switched off permanently.
