Breaking: President Buhari Appoints New service Chiefs. President Buhari, on Monday, 13th of July, appoints new service chiefs to fill the Vaccum left by the recently sacked service chiefs. The newlt appointed officers include: Major-General Abayomi Gabriel Olonishakin Chief of Defence Staff; Major-General T.Y. Buratai Chief of Army Staff, Rear Admiral Iboke-Ete Ekwe Ibas Chief of Naval Staff. Air Vice Marshal Sadique Abubakar Chief of Army Staff. Air Vice Marshal Monday Riku Morgan Chief of Defence Intelligence , Major-General Babagana Mongun (rtd.) National Security Adviser. It would be recalled that the President, had earlier today, relieved Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Kenneth Minimah, The Chief of Naver Staff, Vice Admiral Usman Jibrin and Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh of their respective duties.
